for those that know me, I worked at a summer camp this summer. Im not going to wast my time going through with it, but it was just a great experience. (If you want an in-depth explanation of how it went, just ask) im back at school and so far its good. i split a 2 br with mizen and its on campus, which is great. classes seem good so far and i really have nothing to complain about. hopefully this is a good year. now im goin to sleep. |

well thingss are still going well at camp. Got a new set of kids, but they arent as good as the other kids we used to have. Hang out with all the counseslors and have a good time. The camp is seperated into to divisions, IJ and Hill and I am in the IJ. I am on the softball team and apparently the game againsts the hill is a big deal each year. that will be interesting. still cant wait to come home though, cuz i miss so many people...just 20 more dayss. ok back to work, later all! |

hey all. i am officially in camp and have been for a few days. besides a few rainy days all is well. the kids are great (most of the time...they are kids after all) and meeting people is good too. havin fun and wishin everyone else the best.

I'll be leaving in about an hour for a roughly 13 hr car ride to camp. FINALLY. Heres hopin to whoever actually reads this a great rest of the summer. I'M FINALLY DONE!!!!!!! Today was my last day at trugreen. good-bye manual labor, hello fun part of summer. I'll be leavin early on monday. enjoy my company while you can. |

ok....11 more days. the clock seems to tick slower and slower as it comes time to go to camp. then it will be time to go back to purdue. trugreen sucks. i hate it more everyday. im just glad i hardly have a week to go left there. its funny, willy on the phone told me that he never knew why people would want to kill themselves until they worked at trugreen. HAH! so funny. anyway...the post i had on here a couple minutes earlier really intrigues me. ive been really gotten caught up in politics lately. those are a few instances of my liberal side coming out, or maybe its my idealistic side; wanting more for everyone...anyway...laters. |

its been a lil while since i updated this. i started at trugreen. its a nice little job but god, i hate waking up to get there at 7 am and at times i hate the backbreaking labor. but its gonna whip me into shape by the end of it and im gettin a decent tan in the process. i dont really know how much i am makin an hour which will make this payday on friday interesting. yesterday matt had a bbq, which was fun and all, but other than that ive just been crashing because work has exhausted me. its funny, working at a place where the employees have all but their high school diplomas really makes you appreciate that you are fortunate enough to be going to college and leading a life that is truly privileged. I think the countdown to camp is somewhere around 22 or 23 and with each day that passes i get that much more excited. it seems like summer is already going by fast. |

this week was just like last; no work, just relaxing. its nice, but it gets boring really quick. this week was highlighted by hangin out with carey and willy and a few other people a couple nights this week and also going to logan and lexies games. thats it. connie and matt are coming by for the day today so it will be nice to actually see them for a change. i start work monday morning at 7 am at trugreen. ill be working aerations. it will whip me into shape. thats all for this week. |

i havent started work yet and i have yet to know when i will start. I am workin at trugreen again, but this time i think i am doing production, which means that i am the guy that puts on the fertilizer, rather than selling it. this is good because instead of working from noon-9pm, i can get in around 7ish and get outta there around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. this means i can still nap in the afternoon, which i am coming to the conclusion that i need to stay sane. when i dont get that nap, shit hits the fan, which i found out earlier in the week...lol. other than that, ive been hangin with the fellas and thats about it. roughly 38 days till i leave this town. |
